Since 1998, German automotive manufacturers have relied on us for the design of digital
display and operating systems since 1998. In a wide variety of projects, we provide the transformation interface between interface design and software development. In addition to the conception and design of HMI studies and concept cars, we focus on the creation and specification of graphics for vehicle displays.

SMART/LAB Innovationsgesellschaft mbH is one of Europe's most important players
in the field of e-mobility. In the project of the charging infrastructure billing system “LIAS”, we design and develop both products ladecloud and ladeapp.
Both have individual product modules that are used by either B2C or B2B customers (“organizations”). They are based on a common, cloud-based backend and offer functionalities for charging station operators and users of e-vehicles.

AutoELF is an autonomous vehicle, which supports families and persons with impairments. Tablets in the interior provide passengers with all important information about the journey and offer entertainment options. Based on identified user requirements, we conceived and designed different user profiles for the tablets.
These offer all the important functions such as journey information, timetables, maps, news, videos, calls and games. In addition to typical UX activities, ergon.design designed exterior and interior renderings of the vehicle for (UI) visualization purposes.

Since 2007, Uster Technologies AG has had different locations in Switzerland, China and the US managed by ergon.design.
The focus is on UX/UI conception and design for laboratory instruments and expert systems in the textile industry, as well as the development of unified operating philosophies and design systems.
The ergonomic arrangement of display and control elements is based on concept studies carried out by us.
We also designed and developed the style guide for the entire product and software portfolio over several generations based on aesthetic, technological and economic requirements.
